Last week during the 25th Ward Candidates Forum, we honored the work and legacy of Raquel Guerrero. Raquel was an important person in the building of Pilsen and had a vital role in fighting for the construction of Benito Juarez Community Academy, which at the time was a big need in the community since there were no local high school options in Pilsen.
We honor Raquel Guerrero’s work and her legacy. Her story inspires us to keep working for a better tomorrow.
