Sol Team and Civilian Security Applications are now available. Both positions play a big role during the festival and are great opportunities to develop leadership and teamwork skills.

The Sol Team position is recommended for youth ages 14-18. Sol Team is a youth initiative in which young adults throughout the city engage in team building exercises and work on the festival’s maintenance. This position also requires service hours which they could use towards their high school graduation requirement. Sol Team leader applications are also available.

Civilian Security work as the eyes and ears of the festival. They work on managing the traffic of the festival and reporting any suspicious activity to the staff members. You have to be at least 18 years of age to apply.
