Yazmin is from Guanajuato, Mexico and grew up in the northwest side of Chicago. She graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a B.A. in Sociology and Latino Studies. For over a decade, Yazmin has lead ministries with youth and young adults, Hispanic and immigrant communities in the Archdiocese of Chicago and the Diocese of Joliet. Yazmin has broad experience in communications, fundraising strategies and event planning.
