This year we have been able to accomplish a lot thanks to your support. We offered scholarships through our Fiesta del Sol scholarship, invested in leadership training for teachers, parents, students and community members who want change for their community, we held voter registrar trainings and continued our organizing efforts throughout the South and Southwest neighborhoods. For over 60 years, we have been organizing for better education, health care, workplace development, affordable housing, and many other issues affecting our community.

While we had some big milestones like being the lead organization in the construction of Benito Juarez Community Academy, which at the time was a big need in the community since there were no neighborhood high schools in Pilsen, to more recently, being the organizational partner to get Network 7 schools to the #1 spot for most high school application submitted through GoCPS, we are constantly working to improve the living conditions for the people in our community.
