For 50 years we have been able to serve the community through the unique model of our festival. We promote local businesses and work with sponsors with similar visions in mind to fundraise for the Guadalupe A. Reyes Scholarship, which has awarded over $1.1MM in scholarship money.
Fiesta del Sol serves as Pilsen Neighbors Community Council primary fundraiser, which partially funds our year-round work. Our work involves community organizing around different issues which include immigration, education, civic engagement, workforce development, well-being, and many other areas of social justice.
