8TH ANNUAL RECORRIDO DEL SOL 5K RUN/WALK

The Recorrido del Sol 5K Run/Walk is a fundraiser for Pilsen Neighbors Community Council and the Illinois Dream Fund. This partnership supports the Guadalupe A. Reyes Fiesta del Sol Scholarship all while allowing passionate runners and families to run for the good cause.

Registration Fees:

Early Registration:

Thru March 15th

5K Individual Run/Walk: $35
5K Team of 10+ Run/Walk: $35

Regular Registration:

March 16th – April 19th

5K Individual Run/Walk: $40
5K Team of 10+ Run/Walk: 35

Late Registration:

April 20th – May 3rd

5K Individual Run/Walk: $45
5K Team of 10+ Run/Walk (Individual registration): $45

On-Site Registration:

May 5th

On-site Individual 5K Run/Walk: $45

If you are setting up a new team, you may register and pay for your runners now, but please allow up to 24 hours for the team to be added to our “Existing Team” roster so additional runners can join your group!

PLEASE NOTE. THERE WILL NO REFUNDS ISSUED FOR WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS!

Packet pick-up will take place Saturday, May 4th, 2019 from 10AM-6PM.

EVENT INFORMATION

Course and Start Line Location:

Start line at Lower Hutchison, go through underpass, run to Lakefront Running Trail path past Monroe, turn around at Monroe Harbor Public Dock back south through running path, go through underpass, around the baseball fields towards Balbo St., turn left and arrive at Finish Line.

Race Day Transportation

Arriving by Public Transportation Public transportation is highly recommended for race day travel to Grant Park. www.transitchicago.com

Race Day Parking

The most convenient race day parking is available at the following Millennium Garages: Please call 312.616.0600 or visit millenniumgarages.com for additional details.

Water Stations:

Will be available at halfway mark and at the finish line.

Restrooms & Gear Check:

Gear Check will be located in the marked tents near the Start line. Restrooms will also be located near the start line

First Aid:

Will be located in the marked tent near the Finish Line.

Awards:

Will be held for top 3 overall winners in male and female category (based on chip time).
